The District’s dementia service coordinator, Tihitina Chamiso, will provide an overview of the Brain Health Initiative and the resources available for persons living with dementia, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, Dr. Christina Prather will provide an overview of the prevalent risk factors for cognitive decline with a focus on vascular risk factors, while Senayt Assefa will introduce the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care ECHO® project.
